I was looking for a sound in which a few high-pitched bells could be heard together with the spinning gears of the striking mechanism. I couldn't find a sound like that, so i made my own. The two bells are from a sample user 'nemodaedalus' uploaded (wuc_bell_high_and_low. Wav). I recorded the spinning gears myself. The sound comes from a 1920's junghans clock i saved out of a dumpster. It's pretty much broken, except for the striking mechanism.

This is a windchime recorded very quietly struck with a triangle beater with a fairly cheap microphone, noise removed, and normalized to max volume without distortion. Lower note of two.

I recorded this sound back in 2002. Hard to hear, but its a florescent light bulb that was about to burn out. It started making this sound.

Production step :this sound is from a sound recording of a key hiting an iron bar. I take just one sound from my reccording and copy/paste in a new track. I amplify the sound and do a low pass filter. I copy paste my track and create another one just above. I move this new track for create a gap between the two tracks. On the second track i supress some of the beat for create a rythm. On the second track i change the pitch, for making a sound more high-pitched. Description :this sound looks like the ring of a bell tower. The rythm change every two bars who makes him unique and not settled. This sound is, for me, a reference of the track begining of dark techno music. Typologie de schaeffer :. Based on corsica_s's "ding" (freesound 91926). Slightly altered the end and doubled the beginning width audacity.

The sound of a teabag squeezer hitting the lid of an ornamental brass pot. It creates a generic "ding" sound. There is a small amount of static noise in the background. Sounds slightly like a triangle i guess. Recorded with a cheap pc microphone.

This is a high speed apartment building elevator as the doors open and rises with beeps recorded on a zoom h4n with an ntg-2.

Button pressed on the inside of a lift. The lift sets in motion for a short amount of time. Announcement says "4th floor" and doors open to an empty foyer. Door close automatically, button pressed and lift moves back to 3rd floor. Recorded on a tascam dr-01 in stereo at 16bit 48khz wav.
